Sawrule makes small calculators for people who measure, cut, price and estimate wood. The goal is simple: give you a useful number, explain where it came from, and make the limits visible.

Why these calculators?

Woodworking calculations often get buried in spreadsheets or presented as a single confident result. Sawrule keeps the formula, units, rounding and assumptions close to the result so you can check it before relying on it.

What “private” means here

The calculators run in your browser. The dimensions you enter are not sent to a calculation server and no account is required.

What comes next

The first release focuses on board feet for finished lumber and estimated yield from round logs. More tools can be added one at a time, with their method and sources documented on the page.
